At age 8, my first puppy love was Marilyn Kingsbury...a real little knockout! She lived in Rockwood and so did I but she had eyes for an older guy. He was 10. Somewhat later, movie star Marilyn Monroe got a lot of my attention (can you blame me) but she lived in Hollywood and seemed to prefer older guys, too. Anyway, she never returned my calls. But without doubt, my favorite Marilyn of all time is right here in Guelph - and right beside Riverside Park. I mean you can reach out and touch the towering trees and watch the waterfall from her breakfast table. And shes a real looker in her own right. At least now she is. Let's just say that she's had a little facelift. I have included pictures here. But you really should see her up close and personal and you CAN, almost anytime. just don't wait for this weekend or her heart and hearth may belong to someone else.
